Client stories

Three projects. One studio.

A deadline that would not move, a certificate built from a blank page, and a pile of slide decks turned into short lessons. Here is how each one came together.

Story 1 of 3

Rapid production · a public power utility

Your deadline is real.
Your course can be too.

A public power utility needed its safety training rebuilt before year end, and no subject matter expert was free to review it. Here is how 87 slides became a finished interactive course in 11 days.

Scroll to watch the 11 days fill in
The problem

The calendar won't wait. The experts are booked.

Old courses, real risk

Safety training for field crews was due for a full rebuild.

No expert to lean on

The people who knew the content were out doing the work.

A hard stop

The work had to be finished inside the calendar year.

Without a guide, a rush job turns into a rough job. The team needed a partner who could move fast and still get it right.

Day 1

Read every slide.

87 slides in. We sorted them into what crews must do, must know, and must never do.

Days 2 and 3

Lock the outline and the look.

Clear objectives, a simple flow, and a 16:9 visual system in the utility's own brand.

Days 4 and 5

Write it for the field.

Plain language and real job scenes instead of slide text read aloud.

Day 6

Give it a voice.

AI narration, timed to every screen, so updates later are quick.

Days 7 and 8

Build the practice.

Interactive scenarios where learners make the call before they make it on the job.

Day 9

Check what matters.

New assessments that test the work, not trivia.

Day 10

Test everything.

Timing, accessibility, and learning platform checks before anyone sees it.

Day 11

Ship it.

A finished interactive course, ready for crews, with no subject matter expert review needed.

Day by day schedule shown for illustration. Total build time and inputs reflect the actual project.

The plan

Three steps. No waiting on anyone.

  1. Send us what you have

Slides, policies, old courses. That is enough to start.

  2. We build in short loops

You see progress every few days, and nothing stalls on a busy expert.

  3. Your people get trained

A finished course in your learning platform, on the date you needed it.

What changed

The utility hit its date with training crews could use.

Story 2 of 3

Curriculum design from scratch · a public health organization

Sixteen pieces.
One certificate your workers can earn.

A public health organization wanted an online certificate for community health workers, built from a blank page. We designed it with their experts, one course at a time, until the whole program fit together.

Scroll to watch it come together
The problem

A big program and a blank page.

Nothing to convert

There were no online courses to start from. Every piece had to be designed.

Experts with full calendars

The people who knew the work were busy doing it in the community.

Learners in the field

Community health workers needed training that fit around real caseloads.

Without a guide, a certificate turns into a pile of disconnected modules. The team needed a plan that made sixteen pieces feel like one path.

0of 16 pieces in place
    Piece 1

    Start with the map.

A program overview video, co-written with the client team, shows learners where the journey goes.

    Pieces 2 to 4

    Build the foundation.

Community Health Worker 101, Public Health Principles, and Social Determinants of Health.

    Pieces 5 to 8

    Add the people skills.

Interpersonal Communication, Communication Skills, Motivational Interviewing, and Health Literacy.

    Pieces 9 to 12

    Add the daily work.

Care Coordination, Proactive Outreach, Advocacy, and Data Management/EHR 101.

    Pieces 13 to 16

    Grow the leaders.

Education and Facilitation Skills, Capacity Building, Community Assessment, and Research and Evaluation.

    Complete

    One certificate.

Fifteen online courses and an overview video, delivered into the organization's learning platform as one program.

    The plan

Design the path first. Then build every piece to fit it.

    1. Map the job

We learn what your workers actually do and what they need to know first.

    2. Design with your experts

Short sessions and clear drafts, so their time goes where it counts.

    3. Launch the program

Every course ready in your learning platform, connected as one certificate.

    What changed

Community health workers got a clear path to a credential.

Courses use scenario vignettes, interactions, knowledge checks, and narration, so workers practice the conversations they have every day.

    Story 3 of 3

Conversion and modernization · a global technology company

    From slide deck
    to a lesson people finish.

A global technology company's technical training team had know-how locked in long decks and long videos. Working as an embedded specialist on their team, we helped turn that content into short, interactive microlearning.

Scroll to watch one slide change
    The problem

    Long decks. Short attention.

    Dense slides

Important steps were buried in bullets nobody went back to.

    How-To videos that ran long

Learners needed a quick answer and got a lecture.

A team that had to ship faster

New content kept coming, and every draft took weeks.

Without a guide, conversion just moves the same slides onto a new screen. The team needed a repeatable way to make every lesson shorter and more useful.

    Before

    It starts as a deck.

Twelve bullets on one heavy slide, and a lot of reading for a busy technician.

    Step 1

    Find the job inside.

The bullets collapse into three moves a technician actually makes.

    Step 2

    Show it.

A simple process visual replaces the paragraph, so the order is obvious at a glance.

    Step 3

    Let them try.

A quick check asks the learner to make the call before it counts.

    After

    Keep it short.

The finished lesson is built to be done in minutes, then found again when needed.

Sample content for illustration. It is not taken from the client's materials.

    Try it

    Make the call.

A technician is about to replace a failed component. What comes first?

    The plan

Three steps from deck to done.

    1. Send us the deck

Or the long video. Whatever your team uses today.

    2. We find the job and cut the rest

Every screen earns its place, and every lesson ends with practice.

    3. Your team keeps the system

Reusable templates, so the next lesson ships faster than the last.

    What changed

Shorter lessons, faster drafts, happier learners.

    19 → 6 minHow-To runtime, from about 19 minutes to a 6 minute maximum
2 wks → 3-4 daystime to a first draft, and as little as 4 to 8 hours for simpler lessons
    4.6 / 5learner rating
2reusable templates the team kept: an online lesson and a How-To microlearning
Two rebuilt product-training slides on one shared template: mechanical drive components and how a belt drive works.
Related work for another client: product-training slides rebuilt on one reusable template.
